Job Description

We are in search of an Associate Manager, Partnership Operations to join our team who’s mission is to provide best-in-class service to our influencers, retailer partners and clients.

The Associate Manager, Partnership Operations will play a key role in the Partnership Operations (Collective Operations) team who executes and produces all influencer campaigns and collaborations at ShopStyle.  This position will own the day-to-day operations of complex influencer campaigns, including campaign project management with internal and external stakeholders, communication with top influencer partners and agencies, and management of a team of Partnership Operations Coordinators. 

The ideal candidate is experienced in influencer campaign management and operations, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is interested in the influencer marketing/ fashion/ retail industry. The Associate Manager, Partnership Operations reports to the Director, Partnership Operations and will have the opportunity to work with their peers cross-functionally across various teams, including Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Legal, and be a champion for influencers and influencer campaigns across the organization.  This is a full-time role based in the San Mateo office.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead a group of Partnership Operations Coordinators executing influencer campaigns
  • Work with Business Development / Sales team and third party agencies to execute complex influencer campaigns and deliver high quality customer service to influencers and clients
  • Manage and execute influencer marketing campaigns by coordinating with influencers, setting campaign timelines, ensuring clear communication and liaising with internal & external teams
  • Create all contracts and SOWs (statement of work), ensuring accurate reflection of client brief
  • Negotiate pricing, payment/legal terms and secure all signed contracts from approved talent
  • Play a leading role in communicating with key client contacts, external stakeholders and senior level management within external stakeholders (such as, top influencers, their business managers, senior talent managers and executives at influencer agencies)
  • Partner with stakeholders to trouble-shoot and resolve any operational issues or roadblocks for campaign production
  • Build relationships with influencer talent to drive loyalty and market value for Collective

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a project management / execution role at an influencer marketing agency, PR agency or advertisting agency (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in influencer marketing/ influencer campaign management strongly preferred
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to multi-task and complete multiple challenging projects in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Interest and knowledge in the influencer, fashion, retail, e-commerce space a plus
