We are searching for a professional Receptionist/Office Administrator to join our team here at Rakuten and represent our great culture for our employees and visitors. This person will be part of the Facilities team. 


  • Daily shift is 8:30am to 5:30pm, with willingness to stay additional hours when needed
  • Greet and direct all visitors and applicants that come into the office. Ensure that the employee they are here to see is notified when they arrive
  • Manage and create all new hire and guest name badges and security badges
  • Maintenance of Executive conference rooms, visitor’s waiting area, and employee gym
  • Responsible for visitor beverage counter, including re-stocking beverage items, and maintaining cleanliness of beverage area
  • Being a liaison between property management and Rakuten
  • Being able to multitask with multiple forms of communication including viber, phone calls, emails, etc
  • Duties include, but are not limited to supporting facilities in regard to campus/office requests
  • Clean counters, push in chairs, erase whiteboards to ensure that everything is neat throughout the office
  • Responsible for all shipping and receiving
  • Ability to work with multiple personalities while maintaining a professional, customer service-friendly, and positive attitude
  • Prepare mail and coordinate Fed Ex packages on a daily basis
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED. Some College coursework preferred
  • Prior experience in business or office duties preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience required in a similar capacity. Must have intermediate understanding of office procedures
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, dependable, articulate, detail oriented and can function independently
  • Must possess interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various levels of management and staff
