Rakuten Group has almost a 100 million customer base in Japan (3/4 of the Japanese population is covered), as well as 1.2 billion customers globally, providing more than 70 services in a variety such as e-commerce, payment services, financial services, telecommunication, media, sports, etc.

 

Following the strategic vision “Rakuten as a data-driven membership company”, we are expanding our data activities across our multiple Rakuten Group companies. The Global Data Supervisory Department regrouping the Data Platform, Data Science and Data Consulting activities is the main driver of this vision, and is seeing a double-digit growth in headcount for the last 3 years. As a strategic department, we are looking to keep this trend and strengthen our Talent Management Group with a Talent Acquisition Operation Partner

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the communication between the Global HR Department and our Hiring Managers (special interview requests, regular meetings for candidate pipeline and hiring needs, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Hiring Managers to get the necessary information for offer approvals
  • Search candidates for irregular requests outside of a Global HR scope
  • Ensure a weekly reporting on key hiring metrics
  • Support Hiring Managers on job description management (system entries, modification requests, etc.)
  • Act as coordinator for large scale recruiting projects

Required Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience in recruitment operations, in a large corporation or as researcher/candidate coordinator in recruitment agencies
  • Strong communication skills to engage different stakeholders
  • Effective time management and task prioritization to handle sudden request increase
  • Bilingual Japanese/English a must (global team with non-Japanese speakers) 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Tech recruitment
  • Experience in project coordination involving multiple stakeholders
