About the position:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven digital marketing specialist/Planner to join our Data Supervisory Division. 

The Digital Marketing Planner will help develop and support the creation of a strategy for the company’s digital marketing efforts using Data Science products and solutions with a focus on transitioning Marketing to a data driven revenue generating function. 

At Global Data Supervisory Division we maintain and manages corporate wide Data, we have been supporting our group of companies (Internal companies) with Data products and solutions to enhance the businesses by conducting effective and targeted marketing & business development activities. Our department is now capable to support data driven digital marketing for our B2B clients.

This role will oversee (co-work with Marketing team) the planning, development, and execution of the digital marketing strategy for our National clients mainly in consumer goods industry, including all inbound and outbound digital efforts, website, emails, lead generation, SEO, digital advertising, and social media. You are expected to make digital marketing plan for the clients using Rakuten data and platform assets and to design holistic collaboration plan with client’s marketers to accelerate their business.

Responsibilities includes:

Planning and implementation of marketing and communication strategies

Cross media strategies for newspapers, magazines, television, radio, outdoor, transportation, direct mail and the Internet, planning and implementation of digital marketing strategies

KPI design, measurement of communication effect

Promotion · Campaign design and operation

Marketing research (quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Science & digital market planning
  • Introduction and operation experience of DMP, MA, CRM etc.
  • WEB site analysis, improvement experience using access analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • 3-year business experience in advertising business (sales / campaign design, operation, effectiveness verification etc)
  • Excellent communication skills: written, visual (PPT), and spoken
  • Ability to listen to clients and articulate problem statements and solutions
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Technology or equivalent
  • Japanese and English fluent communication skills
  • English skills (TOEIC over 800)
