The Role:

Rakuten Kobo Inc. is looking for a Manager, Business Analysis (eCommerce) to join our eCommerce Product team! The team is responsible for delivering a best in class web ecommerce experience for our customers.

Reporting to Senior Director, Product (eCommerce) the Manager, Business Analysis (eCommerce) plays a vital role in delivering world class ecommerence experience to our customers.  They will be responsible for building and monitoring our core KPIs, leading business casing for potential product ideas and managing our A/B testing program.

The Skillset:

Required:

  • Experience with maintaining and monitoring ecommerce KPIs and conversion funnels

  • Proven success with writing business cases and sizing strategic initiatives

  • Experience collaborating with a diverse range of subject matter experts to create clear business requirements

  • Experience with statistical experimentation including A/B testing, multivariate tests, etc

  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey insights from complex analysis to non-technical business users at varying levels of quantitative familiarity

  • Experience with ecommerce analytics software tools such as Google Analytics

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with analytics software such as Tableau, Domo or Business Objects/Business Intelligence

  • Experience working in e-commerce, online retail or digital content sales

  • Experience working in an Agile software development or product environment

  • Outstanding organizational skills, self-motivated, creative problem solver with a high attention to detail

  • Dedication to continual self improvement and learning
