Job Description
 

Curbside is seeking a Head of Content Marketing. In this role (currently an individual contributor), you will be responsible for building and implementing content strategy for integrated campaigns focused on driving interest and adoption of Curbside’s products.


The Head of Content Marketing will be responsible for leading all content marketing efforts for mid/lower funnel marketing campaigns. This role requires the ability to collaborate with industry analysts and cross-functional Curbside partners to develop, test, and optimize messaging and narratives. He/she will lead content strategy for sales assets, and will own demand generation content (events, blogs, email, webinars, eBooks).

 

This person will be asked to demonstrate thought-leadership, creative thinking, and the ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development of marketing programs and campaigns, project management, and a passion for influencing better consumer experiences. He/She should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, collaborative, flexible, and detail-oriented to manage complex projects. Responsibilities

● Build the content strategy for integrated marketing campaigns across all online/offline channels, to drive lead generation and product adoption

● Understand the customer journey and develop a personalized content plan for maximizing engagement and customer success

● Partner with cross-functional teams in marketing, policy, communications, legal and design to develop content for lifecycle email campaigns and cross-sell programs

● Create a repository of demand generation content such as landing page copies, trigger emails, case studies, blogs, webinars, etc.

● Structure ongoing tests to measure program impact and effectiveness of copy, creative and channel

● Own content success metrics and analytics and obsessively track and measure results, gather insights and optimize content for conversion

● Evaluate market trends and product fit to develop targeted messaging for developer and gaming audiences

● Optimize the funnel through email nurture, content and social channels

● Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in tone, and complies with SEO best practices

 
Qualifications

● Outstanding oral and written communication skills

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications or related field

● 7+ years of content marketing/content strategy/demand gen experience

● Experience in B2B content marketing (preferred experience in Retail, Food, QSR)

● Experience working both strategically as well as in an executional capacity for content development

● Experience telling a compelling story and driving engagement

● Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with proven expertise in problem solving

● A strong understanding of audience and market, and what will engage/influence them

● Can effectively partner and motivate across functions and with outside agencies

● A proven track record of working collaboratively and being accountable

● Exceptional organizational skills and a great attention to detail

● Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
