Summary
Rakuten's focus on empowerment to people and society also extends to its employees and organizations. Marketing Division is responsible for the overall marketing activities of Rakuten Group.
It is one of corporate organizations in Rakuten and consists of about 200 members. We empower people and society based on marketing. Planning and Administration Department has some functions of Business Planning, Human Resource, General Affairs and Governance for Marketing Division. General Affairs in the division has so important role. The role is so widely and we have many tasks for the division, for example companywide meeting support, facility management, information sharing which the division's members want and collaboration with companywide general affairs. Rakuten group continues to grow and changes constantly. Because of this situation, we ask for flexible and self-motivated person.

Responsibility

Will act as manager of general affairs in Marketing Division under Senior manager based on knowledge and past experience;

  • Task management of members and support to improve their competencies and performance
  • Creating policy proposals to facilitate Marketing Division in terms of general affairs
  • Companywide meeting support and proposal for improvement of the operation
  • Creating facility-related flow and management the flow
  • Information sharing which the division's members want
  • Responding to members about in-house software and Planning some training about the software
  • Operational efficiency in general affairs in Rakuten

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years' work experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Be flexible and available to interact with people at all levels
  • Willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Microsoft Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degreee or relevant qualifications
  • 12+ years' work experience including 5 years or more in an HR Generalist or HRBP role
  • Ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to execute foundational Project Management skills where needed and appropriate
