The Director, Corporate Communications (For Ebates Group) will be eager to tackle the challenges of developing content that helps build B2B brand recognition for the various companies within the Ebates Group of companies. Generating buzz internally and externally about new products and services will be your focus. (You will not be focused on building the consumer facing brand profile). The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced at creating content for B2B brands that engage employees, keep clients and partners informed about business decisions, and attracts interest from our prospects.

Director, Corporate Communications (For Ebates Group) will report to the COO

Day to Day

  • Create corporate literature and other forms of communication focused on prospective partners, employees and clients
  • Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
  • Create thought leadership materials to represent brand to prospective partners, employees and clients
  • Write copy for all B2B initiatives, including marketing materials, sales collateral, media kits, and internal communications. Copyedit, proofread, gain executive approvals, and revise communications as necessary.
  • Work with Executives, HR and Facilities teams to help craft internal communications to be consistent with our employer brand standards, values and voice
  • Create and manage accurate and up to date contact lists for our clients, prospects and partners
  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives. Determine B2B event participation strategy, determine overall budgets and hand off to event management to plan and run events and manage individual event budgets
  • Develop corporate marketing communications campaigns including design and launch of B2B email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
  • Identify, develop and execute B2B communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
  • Work with agency to create and send out press releases as necessary
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.
  • Prepare briefing materials for agencies, and develop your own fresh story ideas as required
  • Conduct extensive media outreach, and work with external agencies as required
  • Measure and report on key success and failure metrics over time
  • Serve as company spokesperson as needed for certain media, analyst and public speaking engagements

You will set the strategic direction and overall narrative/initiatives to drive awareness and engagement for our B2B brands, products and services. You will carry that narrative into internal communications to create a consistent tone throughout content of all kinds that inspire employees and clients alike. Your partnership skills internally and externally will drive your success. You will be able to drive continuous coverage in the press through high-touch, high credibility-building media relations.

  • ·         10+ years experience in public relations or corporate communications, ideally in both in-house and agency settings
  • ·         Experience working in on high tech B2B brands and improving reach, scale
  • ·         Established relationships with media contacts and demonstrated success with media relations
  • ·         Must have proven experience managing top-tier press for leading brand(s).
  • ·         Experience working within a highly regulated environment.
  • ·         Experience in building and managing media programs and teams that deliver measurable results
  • ·         Experience coaching senior executives and developing content for them
  • ·         Skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • ·         Outstanding verbal and written communication with a special knack for telling stories in a clear, intriguing and effective way
  • ·         Ability to draft content as needed, and to manage a team who develops content
  • ·         Experience managing teams, and agencies
