The Role:

Kobo is looking for a highly creative and performance-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator, Audiobooks to join our Customer Acquisition team! Growth marketing efforts at Kobo advance at an incredible pace and we pride ourselves on using the latest digital strategies to deliver ongoing value for the organization. Our team’s core objectives are to drive eBook and Audiobook customer acquisition through kobo.com and our Android and iOS apps. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, you will play a vital role in driving growth through developing original content and campaigns for organic and paid marketing channels. A high-energy candidate with a passion for digital marketing, strong graphic design skills and an eagerness to test new ideas will succeed on this team.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

·       Creating original content for organic and paid social channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

·       Leading the content strategy, editorial calendar, and day-to-day management of our online communities to generate engagement, leads and conversions.

·       Designing graphics for use on social media and other paid/organic content.

·       Managing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across a variety of paid channels, including paid social, display, mobile, search, affiliate and influencer marketing.

·       Sourcing new opportunities for paid/organic expansions across digital media channels to drive customer acquisition and sales.

·       Using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to report weekly on performance metrics.

·       Trafficking and tracking large sets of ads on a weekly basis.

·       Working collaboratively with teams across Kobo, including: PR, Product, Analytics, Content, Creative, Web Production.

You’ll also possess these qualities:

·       2+ years in digital marketing with a focus on performance-based marketing (preferably digital media, acquisition or eCommerce).

·       Professional experience as a social media content creator and community manager.

·       Strong graphic design skills and experience (Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, etc).

·       Excellent writing and communication skills for social media; with expert understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and their capabilities.

·       Proficient knowledge of online measurement and performance indicators, ability to analyze campaign data and discern insights.

·       Comprehensive understanding of display, search, mobile, affiliate and influencer marketing.

·       Experience building and optimizing campaigns in a range of advertising platforms and products, including Facebook Ads Manager and Google AdWords.

·       Experience working with creative teams on managing, creating and choosing visual and copy assets.

·       Foreign language skills (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.) or localization experience an asset.
