Job Description:


Are you an analytical leader with a great business mind? Do you like demonstrating your capabilities and skills to other data-driven marketers and executives? We’re looking for a talented Sr. Analytics Manager (Marketing Analytics) who can bring a mix of thought-leadership, data science, team management, and product management to the table in order to drive Ebates marketing efforts forward. Working closely with the acquisition, retention, email, and mobile app teams, you’ll help lead projects focusing on key company initiatives to drive user growth, optimize the conversion funnel, and improve the member experience through personalization. This is a superb opportunity to play a critical role in the company as the future success of Ebates will largely depend on the marketing and member insights we derive from our vast data.



  • Help drive Marketing initiatives that employ new strategies and technology solutions in an effort to increase member acquisition, member engagement, and sales
  • Spearhead proper experiment design, and provide advanced analytical support on A/B tests with clear conclusions on test outcome
  • Project manage the development of data models and algorithms to help Ebates understand our marketing tactics better, especially as it relates to acquisition channel attribution, member segmentation, and the incrementality of promotional efforts and customer interaction with Ebates communication/retargeting
  • Partner with Marketing leads and Ebates leadership to identify new reporting and data requirements, document requirements, build reports and coordinate with engineering to provide the necessary data points
  • Monitor customer engagement levels on an ongoing basis. Be the subject matter expert on identifying overall trends and diagnosing data anomalies
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Math from a top-tier university
  • At least 5-7 years of in-depth Business Intelligence experience ideally in partnership with Marketing, Live Ops, or Growth departments
  • Strong communication skills. Able to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner. Experience communicating analyses and fielding questions from executive team members
  • Experience with experiment design and A/B test analysis across multiple KPIs
  • Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to the team
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized. Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
  • Experience with cross team project management
  • Expert proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau Desktop a huge plus)
  • Experience with Hadoop (Hive/Impala) and Python a plus
